Email Newsletter lets Mike Communicate with District 3 Residents

Mike publishes a quarterly newsletter to let area residents know what is going on in the district and Gwinnett County. You can either sign up to have the newsletter emailed to you, or read it here on the website.

The October newsletter was recently sent to subscribers. Learn about the county's new Paws for Seniors program at the animal shelter, and suggestions for getting through the November elections.

Loganville Fire Station Opens

Residents of the Summit Chase/Loganville part of District 3 are now enjoying a faster response from fire and emergency medical services with the grand opening of Fire Station 28, located at 3725 Rosebud Road in Loganville. The two bay facility was completed in just nine months and under budget.

Duncan Creek Park Opens with More Recreation Options for Hamilton Mill Residents

Hamilton Mill Area residents celebrated the opening of Gwinnett's newest park on June 14th. Duncan Creek Park, located on Braselton Highway, is the fifth new park to open in the county in 2008. It features basketball and volleyball courts and several large skate bowls where bikers and skateboarders can test their skills.

Beaudreau Qualifies for Re-Election

Gwinnett District 3 Commissioner Mike Beaudreau officially became a candidate for reelection on April 28th, when he officially filed paperwork with the Gwinnett County Republican Party for the July 15th, 2008 Primary Election.

Accompanied by Campaign Chairman Buzz Brockway and several supporters, Mike said, "I'm proud to run for a second term as District 3 Commissioner, and pleased by the support I have seen for my reelection so far. I'm looking forward to contiinuing to serve the residents of District 3 in my second term."

The Republican Primary will be held on July 15th, with the General Election in November.

 

County Honors the Cadets of the Gwinnett Composite Squadron Civil Air Patrol

On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, Mike Beaudreau had the honor of presenting a commendation to the Cadets of the Civil Air Patrol's Gwinnett County Composite Squadron at the Commission Meeting on April 22nd.

The Cadets, ages 12-21, participate in orientation flights, leadership school and community service as they work to become future leaders. Many of the program's graduates are accepted into the nation's service academies, including the United States Air Force Academy.

Mike Beaudreau Announces Reelection Candidacy

Commissioner Mike Beaudreau held a press conference on October 2nd, 2007 to announce he was running for a second term as District 3 Commissioner. You can watch the announcement below.

Meetings with Mike Let Residents Visit their Commissioner


Mike takes notes on the concerns raised by a district resident at the first Saturday Office Hours.

In order to make county government more accessible to its citizens, Mike opens his office to district residents on the second Saturday of each month.

He wants to learn directly from citizens about the issues that are important to them. The informal sessions do not require making an appointment, and are first-come, first served.

The January Meetings with Mike will held on Saturday the 10th from 10 AM until Noon.
